The idea of cloud seeding for fake rain costs millions. However, the country has been funding this project since 2017. The rainmaking technology is thus very commonly used in desert countries. In some parts, it rained so much that a yellow level warning alert was issued for them. Because the technology can result in extreme weather, some have raised questions about its usage.
The cloud seeding technology is also being discussed to be implemented in parts of the world that face a drought-like situation.
